To everyone who has ever asked me, “When are you ever gonna do a cookbook?” I’m excited to finally answer…SOON! My first cookbook, based on Panini Happy, will be published by the Harvard Common Press next year and I can hardly wait.
It has been a true labor of love over the past year, working out a slew of never-before-seen recipes (oooh, the anticipation!). Of course, you’ll recognize a lot of familiar favorites in the book as well. You can often find my laptop and me at “the office” (aka, one of my two favorite cafés around town) during preschool time, not to mention all of the cooking and testing that’s going on at home. At the same time, I’ve been doing my best to continue giving you lots more fun new recipes on both Panini Happy and Cooking On the Side AND keeping up with my two little kids and my dear husband. Whew!
I’ve been learning a ton in this whole writing process and it’s my goal to produce a book you all will love. By the way…I’m looking for a few more volunteers to help test recipes! All levels of cooking experience welcome. 🙂

I know your website talks about the many uses of the panini grill… But I’m interested to know if you will be including panini recipes w/o the use of the grill as well… In means of alternatives in case those who have not yet purchased or refuse (I have a friend who refuses, I kid you not) to purchase a grill/press…
